The meeting was attended by eminent personalities in Islamic Economy industry, who constitute the Advisory Board of the Center.
In his remarks, Prof. Abdullah Al Omrani, Head of Advisory Board, affirmed that the meeting was well proceeded and many new projects, initiatives and strategies were discussed.
Prof. Al Omrani, further quoted as saying, “This advisory board is comprised of a diverse group of experts, leaders and professional who will provide strategic guidance and insight for our executive team, which can provide substantial advancement towards achieving the goals established by the International Center of Islamic Economy”.
The Board’s first meeting was held yesterday on 20th February 2018 at the Grand Hyatt, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Sultan Al Howymel, Chief Executive Officer of ICIE opened the meeting by giving an update on the stance of the Center, completed projects, insight about the initiatives and brief on the future projects under research.
The Board gave importance of adding value to existing projects, while at the same time, also changing the current paradigm to enable the creation of an ecosystem for development through the use of technologies.
